Thanks to a well delivered course by Khim Lee, my husband delivered baby Adam without any assistants or panicking on 15th July 11:35pm. Initially my husband did not even want to be at the birth. We had planned for a home despite what friends and family believed about giving birth at home for our first child. On the morning of Adams birth we began our birth journey by going for breakfast and then shopping after this we cleaned the house and cooked my favourite meal (lamb chops curry). My contractions continued all day, every time I had one I stop what I was doing and allowed nature to do its things. At about 6pm my waters broke whilst listening to Maggie’s CD and receiving a foot massage by my husband, we decided to go to the hospital for a check up. There I was told I was only 2cm dilated and that if I had not gone into active labour within 48hrs I should return, so as planned we came home to continue our birth. However, 40mins later Adam was born and delivered by my husband this was not planned our midwife was on her way. Thanks to Khim and my husband, I felt safe, confident and in control, the course did not only educated me but informed my husband, which made a huge contribution to the given situation. My husband strongly believes he would not have been able to cope if it had not been for the training given by Khim, it truly was an invaluable experience and both I and my husband highly recommend Natal-Hypnotherapy.

Dear Khim, Thank you for all your help and especially your patience. Kendall was born on the 14th of May and it was an incredible experience. I managed to endure an all natural water birth experience while listening to my natal hypnotherapy cd's along the way. I could have not asked for a better experience!

Dear Khim, We can’t thank you enough! Adam was born at Queens on Monday morning by natural birth, thanks to you! The course was just amazing and really helped empower us and take ownership of the whole experience. We learnt so much about the natural biological process of pregnancy and birth, and how to trust the body and its signals during labour. The hypnotherapy and relaxation sessions were invaluable and really came into their own during the second stage of labour. Your guidance, a TENS machine and the CDs instead of painkillers or an epidural! All I can say is that we are very happy and grateful for everything! Shall we try the next one at home?

Dear Khim Just wanted to say that your course and tips were really useful during labour. We followed all the advice you provided us and stayed at home till I was about 4 mins apart in my contractions. The TENS machine really helped me cope with the pain and I only ended up using Pethidine during second stage as Gas and Air just made me sick. To be honest, Shakir and I both thought that your course really helped us cope well with handling the labour pains. I always told you that my biggest fear was labour pains but I think the main thing that we got thru your course was the fact that labour pains are what you make them out to be. Shakir really helped me to relax so at the end of the day, it wasn't so bad and I am proud to say that I didn't scream at all.took it really calmly.

Hope you are well. Just a quick e mail to let you know that our son was born on 22nd June weighing a very healthy 7lbs 12oz. It was a WONDERFUL birth, at home in water, just as planned. Established labour started at 6.30 am and he was born at 9.35am that same day - just in time for breakfast. I was quite gutted I didn't even get to use the tens machine I hired! Anyway, I am convinced that we had such a positive birth experience thanks to Natal Hypnotherapy - I will be filling in the questionnaire and sending it back to Maggie (in between feeding and changing nappies!). Once again, many thanks for the course you ran it was wonderful. I am seriously considering taking the training myself as I 100% feel that gaining the tools to enable women to have such a manageable birth experience should be more widely available. Best Wishes Rena, Steve & Baby Zak.
